Training

A variety of training session are run every day of the week, sometimes twice a day, and are all tailored to suit all abilities. Whether you want to row to relax, get fit quick or reach a high level of competition, we have a comprehensive range of sessions to offer. Although we work hard at training, it is always fun with a great family atmosphere.


Water training is run several times throughout the week, sometimes twice a day, allowing you to choose to go to as many or as few as you like, perfect for those with a busy timetable. Indoor rowing exercises every muscle in the body and is a great way to stay fit, and with no pressure being placed on joints, a good method of rehabilitation. We’ll teach you correct technique to help you get the most out of your training.

Alongside rowing training, as a club we do various other sessions to improve our stamina and strength. Our strength and conditioning sessions are a great way to improve your power in the boat, and paired with yoga sessions for recovery, you’ll be strong and healthy in no time.
